CBS YOUNG MENSCH AWARD

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP 2020

The Congregation Beth Shalom Young Mensch Scholarship Fund, which we are now re-launching, was established by an anonymous member of CBS with the goal of acknowledging the good work of our teens and young adults in the Napa Jewish community.

To qualify for the award, a candidate must be a current member of Congregation Beth Shalom, who will be enrolled, either full-time or part-time, in an accredited college or university during the 2020-2021 academic year.

CRITERIA:  Applicants must be students in good standing and will be evaluated on their commitment and contributions to CBS or to the greater CBS Napa Community, and, if they have completed at least one year of college, their involvement in Jewish life at their school.

All applications must be submitted online by potential candidates by May 1, 2020 and the Award(s) will be given in July.

Recipients are not eligible for one year after receiving the award.

It is the anonymous donor's wish that other members of our community also donate to this fund. If you would like to make a contribution, please send to the CBS office or CLICK HERE and designate "Mensch Award."

Please be sure to forward this on to any college students that might be eligible that you know from the Napa Jewish Community.

If you have any questions about this award, please contact Rabbi Goldstein in the CBS office:
