JRI-Poland (Jewish Records Indexing-Poland) is the award-winning searchable database of indexes to Jewish records of Poland. Indexes more than 100 years old are searchable; researchers can also find records less than 100 years old from specific towns now in Poland and Ukraine.
In addition to vital records, the database includes Books of Residents, censuses, army draft lists, school records, cemetery burials, Polish passports, ghetto death records, birth, marriage and death announcements and more.
Robinn Magid is the assistant director of JRI-Poland. As the Lublin Area Project Coordinator, she oversees the indexing of Jewish vital records for some 100 towns.
A Berkeley resident, Robinn is a recent recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies. She served as the chair of the IAJGS 2018 conference in Warsaw, Poland and the IAJGS 2020 Virtual Conference.

All are welcome to attend. For more information on the Jewish Genealogical Society of Sacramento, contact President Kate Gillespie at 3dv.kate@gmail.com.
