Adult Ed: Sharing Our Stories

When

Wednesday, January 14, 2026
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

We live in difficult times. Our democracy is fragile, the days are getting shorter, and we worry about the State of Israel.

But Judaism has always had a way to dispel the darkness. We get together, we schmooze, and we tell stories. Some of those stories are funny, some of them are moving, and some of them remind us that all of us are connected. And mostly, we go off on tangents, and we share the stories of our own lives.

I live far away, but I have lots of stories to tell – stories about my own life and stories written by modern Reform writers. And I’d love to find time during the week to hear your stories – to laugh and to schmooze.

If you’re interested in connecting, join me on zoom on Monday, December 22 and Wednesday, January 14 at 7:00 pm for a chance to share our stories. I’ll bring a couple of stories that are touching and warm, and we’ll see where they take us. And we’ll find strength and warmth together.
