Join Kate Chavez as she shares her journey as a Jewish Latina and explores the diversity of Jewish identity in America. Kate is Executive Director of High School Affairs at StandWithUs, an international educational organization that promotes understanding of Israel and combats antisemitism.
Through storytelling and interactive discussion, Kate will help both young and old alike understand how antisemitism shows up today—online and offline— and how it intersects with broader forms of hate. Kate will highlight the resilience of Jewish communities and empower those of all backgrounds to stand up against hate and become confident upstanders in their schools and communities.
