Shabbat Services

Shabbat Shalom!

At Congregation Beth Shalom, Shabbat is the cornerstone of our spiritual life. Each week, we gather to express gratitude, connect with community, and find wisdom in Torah.

Whether you’re familiar with every prayer or just beginning to explore Jewish traditions, you’ll find a warm welcome at Shabbat services. Come as you are – some choose to dress up, others keep it more casual, and all are embraced in our inclusive community. Join us as we welcome Shabbat together, creating a sacred pause in our busy lives.

Shabbat Services & Study

Kabbalat Shabbat services usually start at 6:00 pm. Check our calendar to confirm this week’s details.

Join us for our weekly reception of food, wine, and friendship immediately following Friday services.

10:30 am on Saturday mornings twice a month, led by Rabbi Niles. Learn more about our Torah Study.

  • Unable to attend in person? Join us virtually through our YouTube livestream, where services are also archived for later viewing.
  • Torah Study: Join Rabbi Niles twice monthly on Saturday mornings as we explore the timeless wisdom of Torah in a welcoming, discussion-based setting. All knowledge levels welcome. Learn more about Torah Study.

Healing & Mi Sheberach

The Mi Sheberach prayer holds a sacred place in our tradition, offering hope for both physical and spiritual healing to those facing illness. During our Shabbat services, we come together as a community to offer this powerful prayer of healing for loved ones in need.

To add someone to our weekly Mi Sheberach list, please contact our office.

Yahrzeits

Throughout the year, we pause to remember those who have passed, with Yahrzeit – the anniversary of death according to the Hebrew calendar – being particularly meaningful.

We invite you to share the names and Yahrzeits of your loved ones, allowing our community to honor their memory during services. To submit a name, please contact our office.

Our sanctuary features two beautiful Yahrzeit Memorial Walls, offering a permanent space to remember those who have touched our lives. Learn more about reserving a place for yourself or a loved one. May you be comforted among all the mourners of Israel.
