“Tension at the 2026 Atlanta Jewish Film Festival.”
This year a young Muslim man studying film at Morehouse College agreed to serve on the Human Rights Jury for the Festival. However, when the young man’s anti – Israel sentiments became known there was a communal outcry. Should this outcry have led to the removal of this young man from the Jury? How could this situation have been handled differently? Rabbi Sandler will fill in additional details and send three articles to read in advance of our discussion.
