High Holy Days in Napa Valley

This New Year, we continue with in-person and online streamed service options that we hope fit with every household’s needs.  High Holy Day tickets are included as a benefit of your membership to Congregation Beth Shalom.

  • If you are a member in good standing, we ask that you register using our online form so that we may be prepared for your attendance.  Members in good standing are welcome to bring guests who are visiting from out of town with them, at a reduced registration rate of $90/person.  Members may also invite Bay Area Locals to join in our services at no charge to the member or the Bay Area Local.  Should the Bay Area Local guest decide to join Congregation Beth Shalom, the referring member will receive a $180 credit on their account
  • If you are not a member, and need somewhere to worship, or are considering membership, you are more than welcome to come and join us at the appropriate non-member rate.  Should you decide after the High Holy Days to join CBS, your High Holiday ticket purchases will be rolled over to cover part of your membership fees.
    • Students and Active Military must register and may attend free of charge with a valid ID.
    • Non-Members under age 65: $360/ticket
    • Non-Members 65+ years old: $180/ticket
    • Non-Members attending Young Family services ONLY: $72/family

Each ticket covers all of the listed High Holy Day Services.  We look forward to gathering together at this special time.

High Holy Day Prayer Books, Bimah Flowers & Break Fast

There will be prayer books for everyone to use. You can also choose to dedicate a prayer book which is a wonderful way to celebrate a recent or upcoming life-cycle event, honor a friend, or memorialize a loved one. A dedication requires a donation of $72.

Each year Bimah flowers add to the beauty of the sanctuary on the High Holy Days and are put together by our volunteers. A donation to the Bimah Flowers will go toward the cost of the plants and flowers we have all around the synagogue.

Our community Break Fast following our Yom Kippur service is not to be missed.  Contributions to the Break Fast meal, either financial or edible are greatly appreciated.  Please contact Marah in the office if you would like to make something to be shared with the community.
Each dedication is a $72 donation.
